Who snarks the snarkers when it's DEFCON 1?

Not only do we have to put up with Web 2.0 snark blogs like Supr.c.ilio.us The Blog, Douchebrity, Jack of All Blogs, Go Flock Yourself, Eye On Winer, and the newly minted ShitCrunch, now they've started snarking at each other in what can only be called a metasnarkosphere.

First Eran and then Ryan of Supr.c.ilio.us (saying just about exactly what Eran said - gee, I wonder who wears the pants in that relationship... I remember someone once seeing a photo of the real Tycho and Gabe from Penny Arcade and commenting that they looked like a pederast and his "young friend") have blogged about how terribly uncouth those other snark blogs are, and how relatively mature they are.

I think they're being a bit harsh on GFY, they aren't bad at all. Douchebrity is vulgar, but I see that as good market positioning. Cowboy from JOAB is merely boring, but no one's forcing you to go to his blog at gunpoint. Eye on Winer at least has a focus to it and has plenty of material to work with - the old Suck.com mascots come to mind. As for ShitCrunch, it needs to work on (a) being original, (b) being funny, and (c) being accurate. If it hits those three deliverables, as they say, I'm subscribed.
