Beta launch pizza

A momentous occasion. The celebratory Tinfinger beta launch pizza (being cooked as I blog) is an extra large quattro gusti, with the corners being Vegetarian, Hawaiian, BBQ Chicken and Aussie. If you hadn't guessed already, my two choices are the last two and the first two are Tai's. I can't stand pineapple on pizza, and as for the first one... Feed The Man Meat!

We managed to get to beta launch without being bought out, despite the best efforts of the circling sharks. Mike Arrington will undoubtedly tell us whether we have blown our beta, but we think a beta is necessary since we're going into uncharted waters here and we need to figure out some of the details in conjunction with real live people.

Emails will go out to beta registrants very soon, once we finish last-minute adjustments to the newly-uploaded code. If you still want to be part of the beta action for the human search engine - or the world's first fandom MMOG, if you prefer - fill out your details below (offer open for a short time only, folks):

Update: The MySQL problems have gone away so the beta is back on. You don't need to have an account to see the site's content, but you do need an account to upload content and mess around with our person and site databases.

Hold your horses, Chunkstyle. In the sage prose of MC 900ft Jesus: "I'll get there when I get there so there ain't no need to push."

Which reminds me Ben, when's the next BBQ?

Can't say I'm overly enthused with our chances this year Philip. Another building year I think, with 2007 looking more likely for us to do something. I'll be cheering them on regardless.
